The City and Cardiff Bay have already established a strong reputation for a range of International sports activities; delivering world class events, including world cup Rugby, Football cup finals, international rowing and national canoeing championships.
The city now welcomes the Urban Beach Volleyball Tour which takes place on Roald Dahl Plass as part of the Mermaid Quay Harbour Festival on the waterfront throughout the bank holiday weekend.
Barry Island Beach Volleyball Club will be scheduling 50+ games (men's & women's pairs) across Saturday & Sunday:Registration 8am
1st Game starts 8.30am
Last Game starts 6.30pm (ending at 7pm)
Break in play on Sunday Olympic Handover Parade (Cardiff City Council) between 2.30pm & 3.15pm
Monday: Dodge Urban Beach Tour 2008 start at 10 and will go onto men's & women's finals, see below.
