Denise Austin
Denise was born in Lancashire and has played Beach Volleyball all over the world. She was a FIVB World Tour player from 1999 - 2003. In 2006 she was the top ranked British player. Denise is a Beach Volleyball coach working with National Level players.
Denise Johns
Denise was born in Luxembourg, moving to the USA. Here she took up Beach Volleyball and over the last four years has played in the American Professional Tour. She has played in various International matches and aims to be part of the 2008 Olympic squad.
Graham Riddle
Graham, nicknamed "the Riddler" is originally from Edinburgh. He started beach volleyball in 2005 after playing the indoor game for many years. His greatest achievement is winning Portobello in 2006. His future goal is to move down south to further his beach career.
Jody Gooding
Jody is originally from Liverpool and started playing beach volleyball seven years ago, after previously playing indoor. His biggest achievements are being the youngest British Champion and competing in the 5th Australian Pro Tour. His future goal is to represent his country in the Olympics.
Kerri Olding
Kerri started playing volleyball when she was ten years old and has represented England at both junior and senior levels for the indoor game. In 2006, Kerri participated in the World Student Games in Beach volleyball, and currently trains with the GB squad in Bath.
Lars Jeppesen
Lars was born in Australia where he started playing indoor volleyball. In 1992, he played in his first Beach Volleyball Championship and has since played in many tournaments including the Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour. Lars and Graham Riddle won the Edinburgh leg of the Tour in 2006.
Lucy Boulton
Lucy was born in Essex and has been playing volleyball for a number of years. Lucy has played in a number of International beach events. She was named BOA Athlete of the Year for volleyball and currently trains with the GB squad in Bath.
Luke Sheaf
Luke started playing indoor volleyball where he represented England at junior level. After taking up Beach Volleyball and becoming the U18 British Champion he now trains with the GB squad in Bath and will play in the European and World U21 Championships.
Melissa Coutts
Mel represented England at indoor volleyball, now playing for Team Edinburgh. She started playing beach volleyball at twenty-three and last year came first in the Edinburgh Urban Tour. Mel has played in the British Grand Prix and one day hopes to be UK No.1.
Mike Randall
Mike currently lives in Dubai and travels to the UK during summer to play Beach volleyball. He started playing beach volleyball ten years ago after playing the indoor version with Wessex. Mike's greatest results include winning the Bournemouth Grand Prix.
Morph Bowes
Morph is originally from Glasgow and started playing beach volleyball eleven years ago. He has played in many tournaments such as Weymouth, Sandbanks and Croyde. His future goal is to continue to play beach volleyball and achieve success.
Robin Miedzybrodski
Robin currently lives in Bath where he is training with the GB Beach Volleyball squad. In 2006, he represented Great Britain in Beach Volleyball at the World University Games in Cyprus. This will be his second year at the Urban Tour after playing last year.
Shauna Mullin
Shauna was born in South Africa and moved to Edinburgh, playing indoor volleyball for Team Edinburgh and Scotland. She took up beach volleyball three years ago and now trains with the GB squad in Bath. She got her first GB Beach cap in Korea in 2006.
Steve Fee
Steve was born in Belfast and has played both indoor and beach volleyball at a high level, representing England in both. In 1998, he became Beach Grand Prix Champion with his partner Tom Hollis. Last year, Steve played with a number of different partners.
Vicky Palmer
Vicky was born in Poole and has been playing volleyball since she was twelve, representing her country at junior and senior levels in the indoor game. Vicky is currently training with the GB Beach squad in Bath and won the Beach Volleyball Student Cup 2006.
Zara Dampney
Zara started playing beach volleyball five years ago after playing the indoor game for many years. She is competing in the World and European Tour this year, and currently trains with the GB in Bath. Zara came first in the Sandbanks Tournament 2006 with her partner.
